Despite a lack of tangible progress, the Duchess of Sussex reportedly continues to send gifts and birthday greetings to Prince Harry’s relatives, according to Heat Magazine.
She has even maintained communication with Princess Eugenie, hoping that one day she can mend the strained relationships with the Royals.
According to reports, the Duchess of Sussex’s gift was well-received by the monarch; however, tensions between them reportedly persist.
Meghan is said to have included jam, honey, crêpe mix, and other items in the gift box delivered to Clarence House, along with a personal handwritten message.
More recently, Harry stated that the Royal family reduced his personal police protection in an attempt to encourage his return to the family fold.
Regarding their situation, an insider commented, “Meghan and Harry are in a challenging position because they want to stand firm and avoid appearing subservient, yet they also desire to reconcile. It’s very difficult as they aren’t receiving much feedback.”
Meghan “continues to acknowledge people’s birthdays – she is still sending presents – and she has stayed in contact with Eugenie to maintain that connection as best she can.”
