In One Second After, McDonnell will appear alongside Josh Holloway and Hannah John-Kamen. She will play the character of an astute mother-in-law to Holloway’s character, John, who works to protect his daughters after an electromagnetic pulse attack throws the world into chaos. The film is expected to begin production this month in Sofia, Bulgaria. While her role in the thriller has been disclosed, details about her character in Marvel’s Vision series have not yet been revealed. The release dates for both projects remain unannounced.
