Mark Consuelos lightheartedly suggested he would consider dating a college student if he and Kelly Ripa were ever to separate.
The Live With Kelly and Mark co-host has no plans to part ways with his wife, Kelly Ripa, but during a humorous segment on their show, he joked that in the hypothetical event of a breakup, he might look into dating someone attending college.
Kelly, however, was quick to disagree, quipping, “I know if you and I broke up you would absolutely fall apart, completely.”
Mark, in turn, playfully affirmed his wife’s statement while adding a teasing remark.
“That’s true,” he replied. “But I do feel like someone would be there on the other end just to pick me up and make sure I’m okay.”
“I’d have to get used to their college schedule and all that stuff,” he jested.
Kelly mentioned that she and Mark frequently tease each other about the idea of breaking up, noting, “Oh, dear God, I hope I live to see your second wife!”
It is worth noting that Kelly and Mark have been married for three decades and are parents to three children: Michael, 27, Lola, 23, and Joaquin, 22.
