HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that led to a significant crash on a Harris County freeway early Sunday morning.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 11600 block of Eastex Service Road at 5 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a crashed Ford Escape on the side of the freeway. Inside the vehicle, they found a deceased man with gunshot wounds, and the driver’s side of the SUV had multiple bullet holes.
Authorities are unsure of the victim’s origin or destination, and there is no evidence indicating an exchange of gunfire.
