Sources at Karachi Airport confirmed that Maulana Fazlur Rehman boarded a foreign airline flight destined for Dubai today (yesterday).

According to sources, the JUI-F chief is not travelling alone. His son, Asad Mahmood, who is also a key political figure, accompanied his father on the flight to the United Arab Emirates.

The sudden departure of the senior political leader has triggered immediate speculation regarding the purpose of his visit.
