Karachi: Authorities in Pakistan’s largest city have intensified actions against undocumented Afghan nationals. Police conducted a large-scale search operation in the Sohrab Goth and Al-Asif Square neighborhoods.
During the operation, all entry and exit points to the area were sealed off, and a heavy contingent of police participated in the action.
According to police officials, 45 Afghan nationals were detained as a result of the operation. The primary reason for their arrest was their failure to provide any legal identification documents.
All detained individuals have been transferred to various police stations for further legal processing.
