ISLAMABAD—The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted protective bail until tomorrow to YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Naniwala, who are facing multiple cases, including charges under cybercrime laws. This interim relief is intended to allow the accused to return to the country and appear before the relevant courts.
The High Court, during a hearing on the cases against the defendants who are currently abroad, approved the protective bail. Justice Raja Inam Amin Minhas issued the orders regarding the protective bail for Rajab Butt and Nadeem Naniwala.
The court specifically directed authorities not to arrest the Youtuber and TikToker upon their landing at Islamabad Airport tomorrow (December 10). Furthermore, both defendants have been instructed to appear before the Islamabad High Court tomorrow for further proceedings related to their cases.
It is noted that both social media influencers are wanted in connection with several cases, including cybercrime charges. The protective bail provides them with a safe passage to return to Pakistan to face legal proceedings.
