HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Traffic lanes have reopened near the Houston Avenue bridge after a truck collided with the overpass early Friday morning.
According to Houston TranStar, the incident occurred around 1:41 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the I-10 Katy Freeway at Houston Avenue. Police reported that one eastbound lane was closed, while another was blocked by a Houston Police Department vehicle.
TranStar cameras captured images of truck debris hanging under the bridge. Crews were dispatched to repair the damage to the Houston Avenue bridge.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
