Lala Kent has shared an emotional health update after doctors found an abnormality in her eye.
Taking to her Instagram stories on Tuesday, the 34-year-old reality TV star revealed that she will soon undergo a biopsy to remove the small mass.
“I wanted to update you guys, because I did that video on Mother’s Day about my eye situation,” Lala wrote, according to Bravo.
She further elaborated, “So, I originally went to an eye doctor, and he was like, ‘Oh yeah, it just looks like an inflamed pinguecula,’ right? And a lot of people wrote in (online) and were saying that same type of thing, or maybe it was allergies.”
“For some reason, that just didn’t feel right because the [eye] drops [the doctor] gave me weren’t working,” the Vanderpump Rules alum continued.
“I went to a doctor’s appointment today — to a doctor that came very highly recommended — and he looked at it and said, ‘I do not think it is [an inflamed pinguecula] at all. I actually want to biopsy it because, to me, it looks like it could be pre-cancer.’ So, they’re trying to expedite surgery to remove it and see what it actually is,” Lala explained.
The television personality added that she first noticed “discoloration” on her sclera two months ago.
