HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — In anticipation of Tropical Storm Beryl’s impact, Houston Public Works announced plans to temporarily lower Lake Houston by 12 inches starting on Saturday.
The process will begin at 4 a.m. on Sunday and is expected to take approximately 20 hours, resulting in the lake level dropping to 41.4 feet.
