The match between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore has been cancelled due to strong winds and rain.
According to details, the Pakistan Cricket Board awarded one point each to both Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators. Earlier in the day, Quetta Gladiators had won the toss and elected to field first.
Batting first, Lahore Qalandars dominated the Quetta Gladiators’ bowlers, scoring 111 runs for the loss of three wickets in 11.3 overs before the weather interruption.
Mohammad Naeem and Abdullah Shafique both scored half-centuries for Lahore Qalandars, while Abrar Ahmed picked up two wickets and Khurram Shahzad took one wicket for Quetta Gladiators.
Toss
The Gladiators had won the toss and opted to field first against Lahore Qalandars in the 21st match of the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Thursday.
According to sources, the Qalandars were aiming to build on the momentum gained after breaking Islamabad United’s winning streak.
