Staying true to their iconic colours, Lahore Qalandars revealed their official team jersey for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Sunday.
The Qalandars’ new uniform features a striking and updated design. Prominent players including Asif Ali, opening batsman Fakhar Zaman, Zimbabwean captain Sikandar Raza, and skipper Shaheen Afridi were present at the kit unveiling ceremony.
The two-time PSL champions, the Qalandars, also showcased their distinctively coloured home and away kits.
The highly anticipated PSL X, which will see six teams compete for the coveted trophy, is set to commence on April 11th.
Islamabad United, the defending champions, will face off against Lahore Qalandars in the opening match at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The following day, on April 12th, Karachi Kings will play their first match of the season against Multan Sultans at their home venue, the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
From April 11th to May 18th, a total of 34 matches will be played in the six-team tournament. Of these, 13 matches, including two elimination rounds and the final, will be hosted at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Eleven matches, including the opening qualifier on May 13th, will be held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The Multan Cricket Stadium and Karachi’s National Bank Stadium will each host five matches.
Additionally, the event will feature three doubleheaders – two scheduled for Saturdays and one on Labour Day, May 1st.
