The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court, Justice Nisar, has revoked the transfer orders of two judges who were set to hear cases on May 9. Justice Arshad Javed’s transfer has been revoked, and his assignment to the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore will remain in place. Justice Asif Basher’s transfer as a session judge in Bhawalpur has also been revoked. The notification was issued after Chief Justice Nisar’s approval, and the transfer orders for both judges were issued late at night.
Meanwhile, Field Marshal Raheel Sharif met with Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al Maliki, in Lahore.
