In a recent statement, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi expressed his views on the formation of new provinces in the country. He emphasized the importance of involving stakeholders in the decision-making process, stating that the government should focus on building trust with the stakeholders if it intends to form new provinces.
Governor Kundi also criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for its approach to negotiations. He stated that the PTI has a history of importing people from outside to participate in negotiations, rather than engaging with its own party members. He also mentioned that PTI leaders like Altaf Hussain and Mahmood Achakzai have a questionable past.
The governor urged the federal and provincial governments to work together to resolve the issue of water scarcity in the Kohat region. He also suggested that the PTI should not view negotiations as a form of blackmail.
