Kim Kardashian has shared her unconventional parenting philosophy, stating that she does not support homework for her children. The 44-year-old reality star, who has four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—with her ex-husband Kanye West, made the comments during her appearance on streamer Kai Cenat’s “Mafiathon 3” livestream this week.
According to the Daily Mail, Kardashian expressed, “I don’t believe in homework. Kids are in school for eight hours a day. When they come home, they need to do sports, have a life, and spend time with their family. I think homework should be left for in school.”
The Online Conversation and Family Views
Kardashian appeared on the livestream alongside her son, Saint, where they participated in lighthearted pranks and games with Cenat. At one point, the founder of SKIMS even shocked the 23-year-old streamer by smashing a prop table behind him as part of a prank. However, her comments about homework quickly sparked an online debate. While some parents agreed that children require downtime after school, others criticized her views as being “out of touch.”
These remarks come just months after Kardashian also faced scrutiny when fans speculated that her eldest daughter, North, had a dermal finger piercing during a family trip to Rome, a claim that has not been confirmed. According to the same outlet, Kim’s sister Kourtney Kardashian has also attracted criticism for her outspoken opinions on education. Earlier this year, she was labeled “out of touch” after suggesting that traditional schooling was “dated” and debating whether her own children should attend classes at all. Kardashian’s appearance on Cenat’s stream also marked the launch of “Mafiathon 3,” a 30-day Twitch marathon set to run until the end of September.
