The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sahibzada Saeedur Rahman, has been granted entry permission for the Punjab Assembly. Sources claim that the Assembly Secretariat has approved the entry of the Chief Minister along with his delegation, which includes provincial ministers, cabinet members, senators, MNA, and MPAs. The complete list of the CM’s delegation has been provided to the Assembly Security.
During his visit, the Chief Minister will meet with opposition members and address the assembly. In a statement, he warned that if any attempts are made to stop or harass his delegation, they will head to Mall Road. The Chief Minister will stay in Lahore for three days.
Prior to his visit, Punjab Assembly Opposition Leader Mahmood Ur Rashid Qureshi stated that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is welcome to the Punjab Assembly. The Chief Minister will address the assembly along with other leaders.
The federal government has imposed a ban on Adil Farooq Raja under the Anti-Terrorism Act. The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) stated that the Customs Enforcement Quetta has seized Rs. 31.70 crores worth of smuggled goods. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued a weather alert due to rain and snowfall in the province.
