Kevin Jonas, a proud “girl dad,” often has a say in what toys are purchased for his kids. Recently, the 37-year-old singer appeared on the Mythical Kitchen podcast and revealed that he’s “very deep” into the Labubu toy trend because one of his daughters is obsessed with them.
Jonas clarified that he hasn’t spent his own money on the dolls, but his daughter is using her allowance for them. “I have not spent a single dollar on Labubus — my daughter has,” Kevin shared. “So she saved up all her money. She buys these things on StockX with her debit card,” he revealed.
He described a recent conversation: “And she’s like, negotiating on there, like putting in bids. She’s like, ‘Dad, it’s not really worth $75 but with shipping it comes up to $85. What do you think I should do?’ I said don’t buy it.”
As you might expect, she still ends up buying the doll, and it “shows up” at the house. Kevin also shared another story about his daughters and their love for Marshmallow Fluff, a treat he had to lie about no longer being sold to get them to stop eating it. He jokingly admitted that he “lies all the time” to his kids.
Kevin Jonas shares two daughters, Alena, 11, and Valentina, 9, with his wife, Danielle.
