Kevin Costner has spoken about his distinctive relationship with coffee. Kevin revealed that he only developed a fondness for coffee in the last 12 to 15 years, but now considers it indispensable for kickstarting his day.
“It’s not an old habit. In the last 12 to 15 years, I finally came to coffee,” Costner, who continues his long-standing collaboration with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, told People. The Yellowstone actor shared, “Coffee starts my day. It really has become a little bit addictive. I don’t have an addictive personality, I don’t think, but that really starts my day.”
Similar to many individuals, the actor initially found coffee exceedingly bitter without a substantial amount of sugar. The director of ‘Horizon: An American Saga’ recounted, “I remember not liking it. It needed a ton of sugar, it needed a ton of something. It was so bitter for me that I couldn’t bear it.”
Presently, he commences his day with it, though he still limits himself to a single cup in the morning. “It’s just the one cup, though,” the Oscar winner clarified.
Kevin Costner is currently assisting Keurig’s Green Mountain Coffee Roasters in launching their new Father’s Day initiative, “Dad’s First Cup.” Coffee enthusiasts can nominate men they believe are exceptional fathers in the comments section. Three fortunate winners will then receive a personalized video message from the Golden Globe recipient and a year’s supply of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters K-Cup pods.
