Katy Perry, the 40-year-old hitmaker behind “Teenage Dream,” is preparing for her upcoming world tour, and she’ll have a very special companion. This tour marks Perry’s first since becoming a mother. As the award-winning pop star anticipates her “The Lifetimes Tour,” set to kick off in Mexico later this month, the new mom has decided to bring her four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, along for some of the shows before Daisy starts kindergarten. “Before she starts kindergarten, she will be joining me for some dates and she loves it. She wants to go on stage and I’m like, ‘No, baby.’” Perry also recently shared with E! News how motherhood has made her more considerate of other mothers who would appreciate earlier showtimes. “One thing I will be implementing is an earlier showtime because now I feel for all the mothers that I put through when I started my show at 9:15.” Before taking the stage for her tour, Perry is also set to travel to space with an all-female, six-person team led by Jeff Bezos’ fiancée, Lauren Sanchez. This sub-orbital spaceflight mission will be operated by Blue Origin’s NS-31. Joining Perry and Sanchez on this space mission tomorrow are rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, bio-astronautics research scientist Amanda Nguyen, CBS Mornings co-host Gayle King, and film producer Kerianne Flynn.
