Reality TV star Katie Price has recently spoken candidly about a past cosmetic surgery that she believes could have been fatal. Appearing on Katherine Ryan’s podcast What’s My Age Again, Price confessed to deeply regretting the extensive procedure.
Throughout her career, Price has reportedly undergone numerous cosmetic enhancements, including 17 breast augmentations, alongside multiple facelifts, fillers, Botox treatments, and a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).
During the podcast, Price identified the BBL as the worst surgery she has ever experienced. She recounted, “I tried that BBL abroad where they take your own fat and put it in your bum. It was so painful. And it just did not look right on me.” Despite her negative outcome from this particular procedure performed overseas, the model stated firmly, “I would never have surgery in England again. Ever, ever. I’d always have it abroad.”
It’s pertinent to note that Katie Price had received explicit warnings regarding the risks of such surgeries prior to this. As quoted by DailyStar at the time, Dr. Gerard Lambe had cautioned: “Katie needs to be aware that she is putting her health and body under extreme pressure with the now countless number of procedures she’s had done in the last year alone.” He specifically highlighted the extreme dangers of the BBL, adding, “BBL is one of the most dangerous surgeries anyone can undergo and it has the highest mortality rate – it’s one of Katie’s riskiest surgeries yet. She is dicing with death.”
