The Director General (DG) of Traffic in Karachi, Pir Muhammad Shah, has been removed from his position. A notification in this regard has been issued, and Muzahar Nawaz Sheikh has been appointed as the new DG Traffic Karachi. According to sources, Pir Muhammad Shah was removed from his position for failing to manage traffic after the Glass Plaza fire, which affected traffic flow in the area. The fire, which occurred on January 17, claimed the lives of 79 people.
