In a bid to tackle rising home invasions and street crimes in Karachi, the city’s police department has introduced two new books – “Pink Book” and “Blue Book” – to keep a record of suspected individuals and gangs involved in these activities. According to a statement released by the South Investigation Police, the “Pink Book” will contain the names and details of domestic servants who are suspected of being involved in gangs, while the “Blue Book” will include the records of individuals and gangs involved in housebreakings and street crimes.
The police have also released a list of pickpockets and thieves who have been active in the city’s upscale neighborhoods. The list includes the names and photographs of 154 suspected pickpockets. In a separate development, the police have also released a list of 270 individuals who are suspected of being involved in street crimes.
The South Investigation Police have appealed to citizens to verify the details of their domestic servants with the police station to prevent any potential threats. The police have also warned citizens to be cautious when dealing with suspicious individuals and to report any incidents to the authorities.
Meanwhile, Field Marshal Qamar Javed Bajwa has visited the training exercises organized by the Army’s formation and has emphasized the need for the military to be prepared for future conflicts. During his visit, he also reviewed the training exercises and stressed the importance of innovation and modernization in the military.
