Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, Manan Zafar Khan, paid his respects to the four members of a single family who lost their lives in the tragic incident at Gul Plaza, by attending their funeral prayers. In addition, Manan Zafar Khan, accompanied by Amir District West, Madadur Hussain Ansari, visited Orangi Town as part of the “Jine Do Karachi March” on February 1, and strongly condemned the government’s incompetence and neglect of the public’s serious issues.
During his visits to various locations including 5-Chourangi, Islam Chowk, Chishti Nagar, Gulshan-e-Bidar, Akbar Shahid Road, and Orangi Town No. 12 near Brohi Hotel, Manan Zafar Khan addressed the public gatherings and corner meetings, criticizing the Sindh government’s 18-year rule, which has left the citizens of Karachi with no right to live. He stated that the tragic incident at Gul Plaza is a stark example of the government’s incompetence and criminal negligence, leaving the people of Karachi in a state of desperation.
The release of an audio message allegedly featuring Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Secretary Information, Sheikh Waqas Akram, has sparked controversy, with his removal from the Australia series. Meanwhile, the French Embassy in Pakistan has congratulated Ali Akbar, a Pakistani-French citizen, on receiving an award for his services.
