Karachi, Pakistan – The ongoing maintenance work on Karachi Airport’s runway taxiway has been causing disruptions to flight operations. According to a notification issued by the Pakistan Airport Authority, the taxiway will remain closed for aircraft operations due to the maintenance work.
The notification instructs pilots to exercise caution during landing and takeoff on the runway. The maintenance work is expected to continue until January 30.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Foreign Office has dismissed allegations of terrorism made by India as a “fabricated story” aimed at political gain. Spokesperson for the Foreign Office, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, along with other accused individuals, have denied any wrongdoing.
The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) has stated that the accused individuals had been mocking judges and making derogatory comments on social media. The NCCTA has also reported that the increase in exports is due to the approval of export enhancement, registration reform, and increased transparency in the system.
