Kanye West is once again drawing criticism for publicly showing his support for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
For those unaware, Diddy is currently incarcerated facing several serious allegations, including sex trafficking and racketeering.
On May 8th, a link to a meme coin was shared on Diddy’s X account with the caption, “WE LOVE YOU POPS!”
Kanye subsequently reposted this comment, demanding Diddy’s release from prison.
In his repost, he included a black heart emoji and the hashtag ‘#FREEDIDDY’.
However, social media users are expressing their displeasure with the ‘Gold Digger’ rapper’s stance.
“This is not the Kanye I know,” one internet user commented on the post.
Another user questioned, “Would you leave Diddy alone with your daughter?”
A third user wrote, “I’m genuinely shocked by how much I dislike your music now because of how utterly awful you are.”
Kanye first voiced his support for Diddy in February, stating his desire to see the rapper “out of jail.”
He wrote on X in capital letters, “FREE PUFF.”
