Justin Bieber’s team has finally responded to the rumors linking him to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing sex trafficking trial.
In a statement released to Page Six on Thursday, the 31-year-old hitmaker’s representative confirmed that Justin is not a victim of his former friend Diddy.
“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him,” said the spokesperson for the ‘Baby’ singer.
The representative further added, “Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”
Last year, fans speculated that the Canadian singer might have been a victim of Diddy’s alleged actions after old videos of the two went viral on social media.
In one such clip, the ‘I Need a Girl’ rapper claimed, “Where we hanging out and what we doing, we can’t really disclose, but it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.”
However, Justin himself never issued any statement regarding Diddy’s arrest and his past relationship with the rapper.
For those unaware, the 55-year-old rapper’s trial is currently underway in federal court in Manhattan, where prosecutors are presenting evidence and witnesses related to sex trafficking charges.
