Upon his release from a London prison, Justin Bieber received a warm welcome from fellow musician Justin Bieber. Brown, 36, posted an Instagram photo of himself on Thursday, deplaning from a private jet following his release on a $6.7 million bail.
“Cook, remain humble,” he captioned the post, accompanied by a heart emoji. The comment section quickly filled with thousands of messages, including one from Bieber, 31, who wrote, “welcome home.” This comment instantly garnered over 16,400 likes.
Brown and Bieber have collaborated on several occasions, notably on the 2011 track “Next to You” and the 2019 track “Don’t Check on Me.”
Bieber has previously expressed his support for Brown multiple times, including in 2019 when he suggested that Brown embodied a combination of Michael Jackson and Tupac Shakur. “You will miss what you had in front of you the whole time … trust me watch you will see,” Bieber wrote in a caption at the time. Bieber also referenced Brown’s past, which includes a felony assault against Rihanna in 2009. “The people who have overlooked this man’s talent because of a mistake he made. you need to reevaluate! Love you @chrisbrownofficial,” Bieber wrote then.
Brown still faces a court hearing next month concerning accusations that he used a bottle to cause bodily harm to music producer Abe Diaw during a night out at London’s Tape nightclub in Mayfair on February 19, 2023. Brown was arrested at the Lowry Hotel, Salford, on May 15, after flying into nearby Manchester Airport to rehearse for his upcoming Breezy Bowl XX 20th-anniversary tour.
