According to Josh Hartnett, performing stunts is far from simple; he describes it as a bittersweet experience.
In his upcoming film, Fight or Flight, Hartnett revealed that he performs his own stunts, sharing, “I was bruised from head to toe. Yeah, head to toe. I mean, it feels good to be able to really throw yourself into something physically and have it turn out the way that this has turned out. It makes it all worth it.”
The Pearl Harbor star also informed People magazine that preparing for the stunts involved rigorous training.
“It was very, very full workout days leading up to this because it was nonstop. Once we started filming, we had five weeks to put the whole thing down, and there were seven big fight sequences,” he explained.
The 46-year-old actor continued, “So every couple of days we were doing another one [stunt], and I did my own stunts. So I had to be in pretty good shape. But then also had to learn the choreography, working with an amazing stunt team, and we all just threw it together.”
The film’s logline is as follows: “A mercenary (Josh) tasked with a new job while on a flight. When he attempts to locate the woman who is his target, the pair must band together and fight a common enemy.”
