Jonathan Scott has revealed that he and Zooey Deschanel are in no rush to get married, even though they got engaged nearly two years ago. In a recent interview, Scott explained that they have been busy traveling and enjoying time with Deschanel’s two children, Elsie and Charlie. He noted that wedding planning has been put on hold as they prioritize family adventures and other projects.
While they haven’t set a date, Scott confirmed that they are on the same page about the kind of wedding they want. The couple agrees that the ceremony should be a very intimate and meaningful gathering with close friends and family, rather than a large, extravagant event.
Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel began dating in 2019 after meeting on an episode of Carpool Karaoke and got engaged in August 2023 during a family trip to Scotland. They currently live in the “dream home” they finished renovating in 2022.
