On May 16th, Chrissy Teigen shared a vulnerable post on her Instagram account, revealing her decision to reintroduce alcohol into her life after a period of sobriety.
Her husband, EGOT winner John Legend, commended his wife for her openness and expressed his unwavering support.
Taking to his own social media profile, he promptly commented on Teigen’s post, effusively writing, “Always proud of you.”
Legend wasn’t the only one to offer Teigen encouraging words. Demi Lovato, who has openly discussed her own sobriety journey, praised the model, writing, “Your honesty and vulnerability is so commendable. I learned it’s about progress, not perfection! You are doing amazing and I’m so very proud of you.”
Furthermore, prominent actress Jaime Pressley also commented, “I hear you loud and clear and I am proud of you and I love you old friend. Your pure and total honesty is a breath of fresh air always.”
Teigen, who shares four children with Legend, mentioned in her post that after abstaining from alcohol for four years, she has begun drinking again.
