Jessica Alba has made a deeply sentimental gift to her parents by purchasing her late grandfather’s house, which holds significant emotional value for the family. In her new Roku series, Honest Renovations, Alba shared the touching story behind the gesture.
The 43-year-old actress revealed, “Almost three years ago, I started the project of my dreams… I surprised my parents by buying them a house!! And not just any house — it was my grandfather’s house where my father grew up.”
Alba explained that after her grandfather’s passing, her parents had planned to sell the house to cover her grandmother’s medical expenses. However, Jessica secretly bought the house to keep it in the family.
She added, “I pretended like I was going to help them flip it before selling, but in reality, I had planned to buy it for them all along.”
In the emotional reveal, Alba told her parents, “Now the house that you grew up in, Dad, is yours.” Her parents were visibly moved by the surprise, marking a heartfelt moment in the series.
