Jennifer Lopez’s children were recently seen showing their support for their mother’s ex-husband, Ben Affleck.
On Wednesday, April 16th, the Los Angeles premiere of “The Accountant 2” was attended not only by Affleck’s own children but also by Lopez’s kids, and Affleck reportedly felt “very grateful” for their presence.
A source close to the situation told People magazine that Lopez’s children specifically wanted to be at the premiere to support Affleck.
“They chose to come support Ben,” the insider revealed to the outlet.
“That’s the kind of bond he’s built with Jennifer’s kids, and it means a lot to him,” the source continued, highlighting the positive relationship Affleck shares with his former partner’s children.
“He was very grateful for the support,” the source further noted.
The “Daredevil” actor is father to three children – son Samuel, 13, and daughters Seraphina, 16, and Violet, 19 – whom he shares with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
Meanwhile, Lopez is the mother of twins, Max and Emme, whom she welcomed with her former husband, Marc Anthony.
During the red carpet ceremony at the Los Angeles premiere, Affleck told Entertainment Tonight that he was “very proud” of his film and touched that both his and Lopez’s children were there to cheer him on.
“It’s a great night. The kids are here, Jen’s kids are here. I’m very, very excited,” the “Gone Girl” actor gushed. “I’m proud of the movie, I love the movie and I love when all the kids come out. It’s really fun, it’s exciting.”
