Jennifer Lopez disclosed that she sought the expertise of a plastic surgeon after sustaining facial injuries that required stitches.
On May 11th, the singer and actress revealed on her Instagram account that she received a blow to her face while rehearsing for the upcoming American Music Awards.
J.Lo shared a series of images on a photo-sharing application, one depicting her holding an ice pack to her eye and another showing a significant laceration on the bridge of her nose.
“So, this happened during the AMA rehearsals,” she wrote.
The star of Atlas detailed her recovery in a third Instagram Story, posing alongside cosmetic surgeon Dr. Jason Diamond.
“Thank you for stitching me up Dr. Diamond. A week later and a whole lotta ice, I’m good as new,” Ben Affleck’s former partner penned.
For those unaware, Jennifer is currently in the midst of preparations to host the 2025 American Music Awards for the second time on May 26th.
Her debut as host of the awards show was in 2015.
