A private airline flight traveling from Jeddah to Islamabad was redirected to Karachi on Saturday. This diversion occurred because of adverse weather conditions at Islamabad International Airport, which included poor visibility and heavy fog.
According to sources, the aircraft was unable to land in Islamabad, prompting air traffic control to instruct the pilot to reroute the flight to Jinnah International Airport, Karachi. The flight landed safely in Karachi.
The airline has informed passengers about the situation, stating that the flight will proceed to Islamabad once the weather conditions improve. Passengers are advised to remain in contact with their respective airlines for updated schedules.
