Los Angeles —
Actor Jacob Elordi has finally dropped hints about the highly anticipated third season of HBO’s hit series Euphoria — and according to him, it’s wrapped in secrecy so tight “it feels like FBI files.”
Speaking on the Academy Museum Gala red carpet, The Kissing Booth and Saltburn star described his experience filming the new season as “incredibly liberating.”
“It was incredible, man,” Elordi told Variety. “I got to play something so far out from what I’ve done before.”
He revealed that the cast members were kept in the dark about each other’s storylines. “Everybody shoots different storylines,” he explained. “I don’t know what anyone else is doing. I had a really singular storyline — it’s like FBI files.”
Elordi added that the secrecy makes it more exciting: “I’ll get to watch the show like everyone else, as a fan. That’s a first for me, and I’m really excited.”
Praising creator Sam Levinson, Elordi said he has “constructed something incredibly clever and cinematic. I think people are really going to like it.”
The new season will feature Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, and Colman Domingo among others.
Euphoria Season 3 is expected to include eight episodes and premiere in spring 2026.
