Abdul Aleem Khan, President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party and a federal minister, delivered a powerful speech during the party’s convention in Khushab, extending tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces for their valor and resilience in recent conflicts with India. Highlighting the heroic contributions of the Pakistan Navy, Abdul Aleem Khan stated, “The Navy also played a brave role to serve Pakistan.” He offered special commendation to the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff and the naval chief for their exemplary leadership.
He praised the Pakistan Air Force for shooting down six enemy aircraft and lauded Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, asserting, “Field Marshal Asim Munir raised the nation’s head with pride. I congratulate him from the bottom of my heart.”
He recalled that the army and air force shattered India’s arrogance in merely one and a half hours during recent skirmishes, terming it a response that would resonate for generations. Abdul Aleem Khan also mentioned that Field Marshal Munir first led the Fajr prayers, and then launched the counter-assault on India.
He stressed that India fired missiles at Pakistan’s military installations, which was met with retaliation. “Our forces remained patient for three days.”
The minister condemned the Indian attacks on Pakistani civilians, especially children, recalling the martyrdom of a colonel’s child during the aggression. “India never recognized the existence of Pakistan, but we achieved success. Allah Almighty gave us victory,” he affirmed.
Turning to local concerns, Abdul Aleem Khan assured the people of Khushab that he would discuss the establishment of a university in the region with the prime minister. He pledged to collaborate with local leaders like Gul Asghar to address the region’s deprivations and foster development.
Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, Abdul Aleem Khan concluded, “Together, we will serve Khushab and work for its progress and remove all the deprivations.”
Aleem Khan further declared, “Whenever sacrifice is needed, the people will be with us.” He reaffirmed the unbreakable bond between the nation and the military, stating, “We are all together with the Pakistan Army to protect Pakistan.”
He also highlighted Pakistan’s strong stance on international matters, saying, “We have given a message to Israel that we are not Palestine and Gaza, we are Pakistan.” He praised Pakistan’s military leadership as “the military leaders of the entire Islamic world.”
Abdul Aleem Khan acknowledged international support for Pakistan, noting, “The people of Azerbaijan came out for Pakistan,” and praised Turkiye and China for their contributions — Turkiye for technology and China for backing Pakistan due to its strategic superiority.
Addressing the recent conflict with India, he mocked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s confidence in his Rafale fighter jets, stating, “The shares of the company that made Rafale fell,” and “Modi was arrogant that no one could shoot down his Rafale.” He added, “Modi was very arrogant, he had bought billions of aircraft.”
Closing his remarks, Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized national resilience, “Whenever the enemy looked at our country, we all defended it and will continue to do so.”
