A shocking revelation has emerged about an Israel-linked company secretly evacuating Palestinians from Gaza in exchange for hefty sums of money. A special digital investigation by Al Jazeera has exposed how a shell company linked to Israel has been exploiting desperate Palestinians and paying them to leave the besieged territory. The investigation has revealed that 153 Palestinians were secretly flown to South Africa last month on a mysterious flight, which was orchestrated by the unregistered organization Al Majed Europe, claiming to be a humanitarian organization. However, Al Jazeera’s investigation found that the organization’s claims to offer humanitarian services were false.
Local media reported that 15-year-old Mustafa Abu Talb was left severely disabled after being hit by Israeli gunfire. The Palestinian was among those who arrived at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport on November 13, but was denied entry due to a lack of Israeli clearance. He was left stranded on the plane for 12 hours before South African President Cyril Ramaphosa allowed him entry on humanitarian grounds, but announced an investigation into the incident.
According to Al Jazeera, Palestinians were paid between $1,000 and $25,000 each, and were instructed to keep their departure a secret. Passengers were told they would be taken to the Kerem Abu Salem crossing, where their belongings would be confiscated and they would be transferred to the Ramon Airport under Israeli supervision. The investigation also found that the flights were operated by a new and suspicious airline called FlyYo, which has flown multiple flights from Israeli airports to Romania, Indonesia, South Africa, and other countries.
Al Jazeera also revealed that Al Majed Europe is not registered in Germany or Europe, and its claimed office in East Jerusalem does not exist. Another company linked to the organization, Talent Globus, was found to be a paper company with a director who is an Israeli and Estonian citizen, and is linked to the evacuation of Palestinians.
While Israel officially claims to be behind “voluntary migration” plans, the secret flights raise questions about whether Gaza is being quietly emptied of its residents. Al Jazeera believes that fake organizations like Al Majed Europe may be part of a larger plan to evacuate Palestinians from Gaza one flight at a time.
