Southern Lebanon is mourning again after an Israeli drone strike killed two people. The attack targeted a car in the town of Toul, resulting in two deaths and leaving two others injured.
This incident is the latest in a series of escalating tensions in the region. According to Arab media, this attack comes just one day after separate Israeli airstrikes in eastern and southern Lebanon killed four other people.
Israel had claimed that yesterday’s strikes were aimed at hitting targets belonging to the resistance group Hezbollah.
These actions are being reported as serious violations of the ceasefire agreement reached in November 2024. Arab media outlets state that Israel is breaching the terms of this agreement on an almost daily basis, creating a highly fragile situation at the border and causing deep fear among the local population.
