Israel has carried out more than 10,628 military operations in six countries in the Middle East in 2025, according to the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED). The data, spanning from January 1 to December 5, 2025, reveals that Israel has conducted a total of 10,631 aggressive military operations in the region. The countries targeted by Israel’s military operations include Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, Qatar, Syria, and Yemen.
Israel has approved the construction of new Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank and has also carried out attacks in the territorial waters of Tanzania, Malta, and Greece, in addition to the aforementioned countries. The Gaza Strip has borne the brunt of Israel’s attacks, with over 25,000 Palestinians killed and around 62,000 injured this year, according to ACLED.
The data shows that Israel has conducted a total of 8,332 military operations in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, 379 in Iran, 207 in Syria, 48 air and drone attacks in Yemen, one attack in Qatar, and one attack each in the territorial waters of Tanzania, Malta, and Greece.
ACLED’s report emphasizes that the data is based on verified information and may not reflect the actual number of attacks carried out by Israel, as collecting accurate data in conflict zones can be a challenging task.
