In a high-level meeting, the PM emphasized zero tolerance for those causing unrest and mandated stronger coordination among law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of citizens and public property.
The initiative includes modernizing the Safe City Project, establishing a Federal Riot-Control Force, and creating a forensic lab to aid in investigations. These measures aim to address the fallout from violent protests, which resulted in casualties among law enforcers and significant economic losses. The government has also decided to strengthen prosecution services and review ongoing cases linked to recent clashes​
