On the night of January 1, 2025, India welcomed its first ‘Generation Beta’ baby. The child was born at 12:03 AM at the Synod Hospital in Aizawl, Manipur. The baby, named Frankie Remroaotdika Zading, weighed approximately three kilograms.
What is Generation Beta? ‘Generation Beta’ refers to the cohort of children born between 2025 and 2039. This generation follows Generation Z and Millennials and is expected to live in a world heavily influenced by technology and advanced scientific developments. The term was coined by future trends expert, Mark McCrindle, who believes that children of Generation Beta will grow up in a world where artificial intelligence, digital connectivity, and medical advancements will play pivotal roles.
Experts’ Predictions: Experts suggest that Generation Beta children will be digitally proficient from birth and their lives will be intertwined with rapid technological advancements and medical revolutions. These may include treatments for diseases that were previously considered untreatable.
