The photo and video-sharing platform Instagram has rolled out a highly practical feature for its Reels users, aimed at solving the common frustration of losing a video after an accidental refresh.
Many users frequently experience the problem of losing a Reel they enjoyed but had not saved, simply because their feed refreshed unexpectedly. To address this, the Meta-owned platform has now introduced a “Watch History” option.
Adam Mosseri, the Head of Instagram, announced the new feature on Friday. He explained that users can now navigate to their profile Settings and select the ‘Your Activity’ option. Within this menu, they will find a new ‘Watch History’ tab, which will provide a complete list of all the Reels they have previously watched.
