An innocent child was martyred as a result of what Pakistan has described as a “cowardly attack” by India in Azad Kashmir. The martyred child, Irtaza Abbas Turi, was the son of Pakistan Army Colonel Zahir Abbas Turi. The martyrdom of innocent Murtaza has left everyone in tears.
The funeral prayer for the martyr will be held today in Islamabad, with senior military officials, relatives, and a large number of local residents expected to attend.
It should be noted that India reportedly launched attacks on Pakistani civilian areas the previous night, escalating tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.
Following the Indian attack, Pakistan’s armed forces reportedly retaliated decisively, claiming to have shot down five Indian warplanes, including three Rafale jets. Pakistan also claims to have destroyed multiple military checkpoints including a brigade headquarters. According to Pakistani sources, the Indian army raised a white flag at the LoC’s Chora complex, acknowledging defeat.
