Imran Khan's Key Instruction to PTI Official

Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has directed party Member of National Assembly (MNA) Junaid Akbar to resign from his position as chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), according to confirmation from party sources on Monday.
The message from Khan was relayed to the party leadership by his sister, Aleema Khan, as reported by sources.
A formal written instruction from the former prime minister was delivered to PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, calling for Akbar to step down from the role and dedicate his full attention to his party duties.
It has been suggested by insiders that Omar Ayub, a prominent figure within the PTI, is likely to be nominated as the new PAC chairman to succeed Akbar — who holds the position of PTI’s president for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In response to the development, Akbar stated that he would adhere to the directive whenever Khan officially instructs him to resign.
“I will relinquish my chairmanship of the Public Accounts Committee the moment Imran Khan orders me to do so,” he declared.
Meanwhile, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja declined to comment, stating: “This is an internal party matter, and I prefer not to offer a public statement at this time.”
