PTI founder Imran Khan has called off negotiations with the government due to its failure to establish a judicial commission within the promised seven-day period. PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan shared this news with the media outside Adiala Jail, revealing that during a meeting with Khan, the former prime minister expressed frustration over the delay, which led him to terminate further negotiations.
Khan made it clear that no more rounds of negotiations would take place as the government had not followed through on its commitments. The talks between the PML-N-led government and PTI began in late December with the aim of reducing political tensions. However, little progress has been made on crucial issues, including the establishment of two judicial commissions, which PTI demanded to be formed by both parties within seven days.
