The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced on Thursday that Director General Rafael Grossi will visit the Kursk nuclear power plant next week to evaluate the situation. The IAEA was informed by Russia that debris from a drone had been discovered at the plant.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused Ukraine of attempting an overnight strike on the Kursk facility. Acting Kursk Governor Alexei Smirnov reported to Putin that the situation at the plant remains “stable.”
