In Houston, Texas, a confrontation between two groups of teenagers escalated into violence on Wednesday night, resulting in two teens being shot. The Houston Police Department is urging the adult suspect believed to have fired the gun to come forward and provide their account of the incident.
Police responded to a shooting incident at approximately 5:15 p.m. in the 9600 block of Cullen Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered that a 13-year-old girl had been shot in the arm, while a 15-year-old boy sustained a gunshot wound to the chest.
According to police investigations, the altercation initially started at a different location before both groups of teenagers reconvened at Cullen Boulevard, where the altercation continued. As the altercation turned physical, adults intervened, and one individual allegedly discharged a firearm, injuring both teens.
The injured teenagers were transported to the hospital, with the 15-year-old reported to be in critical condition and the 13-year-old girl in stable condition.
