HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Westbound lanes of Interstate 10 at the San Jacinto River were reopened Monday evening after they were closed for hours due to an 18-wheeler crash.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the incident also involving a pickup truck happened just before 1:30 p.m. Monday.
Crews were working to not only clear the wreckage but also clean a diesel spill from the crash.
The Texas Department of Transportation later tweeted at 6:16 p.m. that lanes were reopened.
