HOUSTON: In an extraordinary act of philanthropy, Houston-based billionaire couple Nancy and Rich Kinder have announced they will donate 95% of their vast fortune, estimated at $11.2 billion (approx. 29 Kharab PKR), to charitable causes.
According to media reports, the couple confirmed their pledge, stating that the majority of the funds will be directed back into their home city of Houston. The massive donation will be spent on local philanthropic projects, restoring city parks, supporting educational institutions, and funding community programs.
Explaining the motivation behind their decision, Rich Kinder said, “We are very fortunate because so many people have helped us build our wealth.” He added, “It has always been our goal to leave the world a better place than we found it.”
