Today (Thursday), the 77th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah—the Father of the Nation—is being observed across Pakistan with deep respect and reverence.
The day commenced with special prayers in mosques for the eternal peace of his soul, alongside prayers for the country’s stability, peace, and prosperity.
Through his vision and unwavering determination, Muhammad Ali Jinnah united the Muslims of the subcontinent under the All-India Muslim League and guided them toward the creation of Pakistan. His golden principles of unity, faith, and discipline continue to serve as a guiding light for the nation.
Jinnah passed away on September 11, 1948, just over a year after Pakistan gained independence.
Special programs are being aired on Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television to pay homage to Quaid-e-Azam’s legacy. These programs highlight his pivotal role in creating an independent homeland for Muslims and the core values he instilled in the foundation of Pakistan.
